San Sebastian to Tenerife

No flight allows you to fly directly to Tenerife from San Sebastian but it is possible to make this trip only by plane with the flight routes San Sebastian-Madrid and Madrid-Tenerife.

Leave San Sebastian and arrive early enough (at least 2 hours before the departure time) at San Sebastian EAS airport, 10.6 mi away, to check in your luggage for the flight to Madrid (Adolfo-Suárez de Madrid-Barajas airport, IATA code: MAD) operated by Iberia. From Madrid, take another plane with Air Europa, Ryanair, Iberia or Norwegian Air Shuttle that will carry you to Sur Reina Sofia airport (Tenerife, Spain).

Even though it is not possible to make the trip San Sebastian Tenerife only by bus, there are other means of transport (plane) that will complete the journey San Sebastian-Madrid.

You will board a coach of FlixBus or ALSA in San Sebastian. The bus will drop you off at Madrid Sur bus station (1.9 mi from Madrid, Spain). Please make sure to show up on time at San Sebastian - Estacion de Autobus bus station (0.4 mi from San Sebastian) at least 15 minutes before the time of departure for Madrid.

It is not possible to travel directly by train from San Sebastian to Tenerife without changing trains. You can take the train San Sebastian-Valladolid and travel by plane to get to your final destination.

Trains Sud-Expresso of Comboios de Portugal CP to Valladolid leave from San Sebastian/Donostia railway station in San Sebastian. Arrival in Valladolid will take place at Valladolid-Campo Grande station (0.8 mi from the city centre).

Blablacar is the main carpooling platform in Europe where drivers having the route San Sebastian-Madrid will be able to share a ride with you that you will combine with a trip by plane in order to cover the entire trip.
