Vigo to Lanzarote

No flight allows you to fly directly to Lanzarote from Vigo but it is possible to make this trip only by plane with the flight routes Vigo-Madrid and Madrid-Lanzarote.

Leave Vigo and arrive early enough (at least 2 hours before the departure time) at Vigo VGO airport, 5 mi away, to check in your luggage for the flight to Madrid (Adolfo-Suárez de Madrid-Barajas airport, IATA code: MAD) operated by Iberia or Air Europa. From Madrid, take another plane with Air Europa, Ryanair or Iberia that will carry you to Lanzarote airport (Lanzarote, Spain).

Even though it is not possible to make the trip Vigo Lanzarote only by bus, there are other means of transport (plane) that will complete the journey Vigo-Madrid.

You will board a coach of FlixBus in Vigo. The bus will drop you off at Madrid Sur bus station (1.9 mi from Madrid, Spain). Please make sure to show up on time at Vigo bus station (1.1 mi from Vigo) at least 15 minutes before the time of departure for Madrid.

Blablacar is the main carpooling platform in Europe where drivers having the route Vigo-Madrid will be able to share a ride with you that you will combine with a trip by plane in order to cover the entire trip.

It is not possible to travel directly by train from Vigo to Lanzarote without changing trains. You can take the train Vigo-Madrid and travel by plane to get to your final destination.

Trains Trenhotel of Renfe to Madrid leave from Vigo-Guixar railway station in Vigo. Arrival in Madrid will take place at Madrid-Chamartin station (4 mi from the city centre).
